Experience

Having initially devoted his studies to languages (BA Hons French Studies, Portsmouth, “Maîtrise de Littérature Anglaise”, Saint-Etienne University) he naturally continued teaching English in the French higher education system (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne, Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Saint-Étienne, Institut Universitaire de Technologie, Saint-Étienne, Institut Supérieur de Techniques Productiques, Saint-Étienne, Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, Saint-Étienne…) as well as organising and carrying out professional training in local (Saint-Etienne and Lyon) large and small companies in need of specific language skills (Elf, Camping Gaz, Alcatel, BSN…). This in-company experience helped define the objectives of the language courses given here in the language department at the Saint-Etienne School of Management.

More recently he has completed post-graduate management studies in Saint-Etienne (Master’s in Company Management in Saint-Etienne) and a research oriented Master’s program in Socio-Economic Management, co-organised by the ISEOR research laboratory, EM-Lyon and Lyon 3 University.
