Experience
Magdalena Brunel joined the Saint-Etienne School of Management as a professor of international finance and economics in March 2008. Previously, she was an assistant professor at the University of Lodz in Poland and she taught also as invited professor in the University Lyon 3 in France (2007-2008).
Professor Brunel was employed as a chief’s advisor in the Chancellery of Prime Minister in Poland. She worked on a methodology of performance-based budget and she participated in the introduction of budget reform in Poland.
She has cooperated as an expert with Polish Parliament, the European Institute of Public Finance (Maastricht) and the World Bank.
She has ten years experience in tourist business in China, Thailand, Peru, Bolivia and in almost all European Countries.
Her research interests focus on Foreign Direct Investments and performance-based budgeting.
